MEET JORDAN

THE CHEMICAL QUEEN

EDUCATOR / INFLUENCER / STYLIST

IMG_2239.jpg

In 2018 I was living the hairstylist dream - highly successful behind the chair, booked out for months, and making more money than I ever thought I could. At the same time I was feeling resentful, burnt out, and totally lost. My passion for people was dying a slow death and my creativity was going with it. It was a new low I never saw coming.

I started to ask myself, why was I feeling this way? Isn’t this what I wanted? It forced me to really think about what success really means to me, and what I realized was that all of the ideas I had about success were ones I had seen and heard from the previous generation of stylists. Being booked out for weeks, constant people pleasing, and doing every service imaginable wasn’t cute anymore. I had been living in a constant fog while the hair culture around me had been changing. Turns out, choosing the services you want to offer and making your own schedule is no longer reserved for celebrity stylists and hair influencers. I knew I needed to reassess and level-up with education. This is where my real journey began.

IF YOU'RE THINKING THERE IS MORE OUT THERE FOR YOUR CAREER, I'M HERE TO TELL YOU THAT THERE IS.

FOR ME, IT ALL STARTED WITH HAIR COLOR.

I took class after class and began to gain clarity. I knew what I wanted my career to look like. The fog was lifting and I didn't have to feel exhausted and drained anymore. The confidence I gained in my hair color skills started to spill over into other areas of my business. I implemented new systems, set boundaries, and finally gained the confidence needed to charge appropriately. Social media became a tool that worked for me instead of a platform that overwhelmed me, and everything changed.

Now, I work 25 hours a week behind the chair, only offer the color services I love, and have almost doubled my income. Here's my theory - if you work the hours that fit your lifestyle, do the services that set your soul on fire, and make the income you desire, you will be able to sustain your career for years to come. If you're thinking there is more out there for your career, I'm here to tell you there is. If you're thinking that you could never do this in your own business I'm here to tell you I felt the same way.
